The Air Platform Design Department has been established in 2012. The department consists of five major groups for the research, development and design of air platforms. These groups are Aeromechanics, Avionics, Flight Sciences, Air Platform Subsystems, Communication, and Ground Station.

Our Mission:
To conduct design, research, and development activities for advanced unmanned and manned air platforms at system and subsystem level, specifically in the fields of structure, aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, fight sciences, communications, and ground stations. In doing these activities, our approach is to create a synergy of our nation’s technological experience, talents, and resources to develop new technologies.
