National Ground Station Development (MİYEG) Project records new success for Turkey.

Recently, the production of 7.3 meters diameter reflector antenna, to be installed on the roof of TÜBİTAK UZAY building, has been completed.

This Project has the feature of being the largest diameter antenna, which has ever been designed and produced, in Turkey. Its Cassegrain type antenna uses S and X band communication for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. Middle hub and 10 panels forming the reflector were manufactured and assembled recently. We are looking forward to the next stage of the factory testing, on-site installations and acceptance tests soon.
