We are proud!

Because, as Türkiye's first indigenous communication satellite, TÜRKSAT 6A took its place in space on July 9th,

  • Türkiye has become one of the 11 countries operating its own communication satellite;
  • The technological product with the highest value produced by Türkiye to date have started its 15-year mission at the farthest point we have ever reached in space (35,786 km);
  • With a localization rate of over 80 percent, the design, production, integration and testing processes carried out under the leadership of TÜBİTAK UZAY have started to prove themselves worldwide;
  • Many high-tech satellite subsystems developed by TÜBİTAK UZAY, such as flight computers, power distribution and regulation units, star trackers, reaction wheels, electric propulsion systems, as well as indigenous software, have started to gain history and have become a candidate to become the locomotive for our space technology exports.

We are on our way to becoming a world-class technology provider!
