TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute has a modern and well-equipped infrastructure to carry out advanced research and production activities in the field of space technologies. Our Institute carries out various projects and studies to develop Turkey's space industry and produce internationally competitive products.
The Test and Inspection Infrastructures established within TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute are used to qualify all design and workmanship activities from board level to system level, as well as component level controls. After qualification, the equipment and satellite system are verified to be ready for flight.
TÜBİTAK UZAY Test and Integration Infrastructure is a facility established by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) for the testing and integration of projects developed in the field of space technologies. This infrastructure enables various tests to be conducted to verify the reliability and performance of space vehicles and components. These infrastructures provide testing services to meet the needs of the space and defense industry ecosystem.
The Electric Propulsion Engine Development and Test Infrastructure, also known as HALL effect thrusters, is a type of electric propulsion system developed by TÜBİTAK UZAY.
The Optical Systems Research Laboratory (OPMER) was established with the aim of developing and producing precision optical components needed in many different fields, especially in satellite technologies, within national capabilities and capabilities.
