This protocol covers cooperation in the fields of satellite technologies, communication systems and space research.

On October 22, 2024, at a special ceremony held at SAHA EXPO, the protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, President of TÜBİTAK on behalf of TÜBİTAK, and Ahmet Hamdi Atalay, General Manager of TÜRKSAT A.Ş. on behalf of TÜRKSAT A.Ş.

With this cooperation protocol, which will enable Turkey's satellite and space projects to move forward, Turkey's foreign dependency in space technologies will be reduced with the projects to be developed within the scope of TÜBİTAK UZAY and TÜRKSAT A.Ş., while pioneering the use of systems produced with domestic and national facilities.
