TÜBİTAK UZAY Showcases Türkiye’s Space Capabilities at Space Tech Expo 2025

TÜBİTAK UZAY took part in Space Tech Expo 2025, held in Bremen, Germany-one of the leading global events bringing together companies, institutions and professionals from across the aerospace and space technology sectors. The Institute’s booth drew strong interest from international visitors throughout the exhibition.

During the event, TÜBİTAK UZAY presented its portfolio of satellite and space projects, including indigenously developed satellite platforms, electro-optical camera systems, satellite equipment and software capabilities. Visitors were briefed on the Institute’s ongoing work as well as its upcoming initiatives.

A panel session at the event featured TÜBİTAK UZAY Director Mehmet Nefes, who outlined Türkiye’s expanding experience in national space missions, the progress of ongoing satellite projects, and the country’s long-term vision for space technologies. The session highlighted the technological advancements achieved through national satellite programs and detailed Türkiye’s strategic objectives in the space domain. It also examined emerging opportunities for international cooperation, mutual benefit, and potential areas for joint initiatives within the global space ecosystem.

Meetings held with sector stakeholders provided an opportunity to evaluate future collaboration prospects and discuss areas of mutual interest. The engagements during the expo were seen as an important step toward strengthening Türkiye’s presence in the international space arena.
