The stakeholder event of the TÜRKSAT 6A Project held at TÜBİTAK UZAY was attended by the Ministry of Transport, the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB), TÜBİTAK, TÜRKSAT A.Ş., the project executing organizations (TAI, ASELSAN and CTECH) and the subcontractor companies of the project.
In his speech at the event, Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, President of TÜBİTAK, said that all stakeholders play an important role in increasing Turkey's technological strength. Prof. Dr. Aydın noted that with the launch of the indigenous and national communication satellite TÜRKSAT 6A, we have experienced the firsts in Turkish space history, and thanked all his colleagues for their efforts and successful work during the TÜRKSAT 6A process.
Mehmet Nefes, Institute Manager of TÜBİTAK UZAY, emphasized the achievements in the production of domestic and national satellites developed under the leadership of TÜBİTAK UZAY, and drew attention to the importance of the TÜRKSAT 6A Project for Turkey's technological independence. Following this, Mr. Cevher Levent Ertürk, Project Manager, made a presentation on the technical details and current status of the project and shared the contributions of stakeholders to the project.
Can Bayraktar from TÜBİTAK UZAY Business Development and External Relations Group made a presentation on the institute. The participants visited TÜBİTAK UZAY Ground Station and Clean Room and received detailed information about the operations and testing processes of the satellite.

At the event, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Mesut Güner and İsmail Doğan, and TÜBİTAK UZAY Institute Director Mehmet Nefes presented plaques and satellite models to the companies that contributed to the project. During the plaque presentation ceremony, the representatives of the companies were thanked and it was emphasized that their efforts were of great importance for the country's space and satellite sector.
The event ended with a dinner at TÜBİTAK UZAY Institute, where all stakeholders who supported the TÜRKSAT 6A project were thanked. The event ended with the wish that this important cooperation in Turkey's space journey will continue with the same success and dedication in the future.
