At the IDEF 2025 - International Defense Industry Fair, held at the Istanbul Expo Center between July 22-27, we took our place at our booth to showcase our latest achievements in Turkey's defense industry and space technologies; we introduced our domestic satellite portfolio, shared our projects and laid the foundations for future strategic collaborations.

At the exhibition, we introduced the national satellites, mission software, equipment and space projects we have developed, especially İMECE, our sub-meter resolution earth observation satellite. We informed the guests who visited our stand about our fields of activity and Turkey's space vision. We also introduced the Tstar-GO Satellite Mission Operation Software, which combines critical functions such as satellite mission planning, command transmission, data acquisition and analysis on a single platform, and which is actively used in İMECE and TÜRKSAT 6A projects.

During IDEF 2025, we held productive meetings with many national and international institutions and organizations. Thanks to these contacts, we were able to strengthen our existing collaborations as well as evaluate partnership opportunities for new projects.

During the exhibition, we signed two important agreements with the participation of our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır. Within the framework of the Lunar Research Program, we initiated a cooperation with Poloptech for the development of an Image-Aided Navigation System, while we signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Sabancı University on the Production of Satellite Structural Panels.

Within the scope of the project we have initiated with Poloptech, we are developing an Image-Aided Navigation System that can calculate the position and orientation of the spacecraft with images taken from the lunar surface. This system will be used as a mission-critical component in the soft landing process of the second mission, along with the experience we will gain in our first lunar mission. Given the lack of real-time positioning systems in lunar orbit, this system is crucial for our space missions.

With the memorandum of understanding we signed with Sabancı University, we will continue our work on the development of high-performance satellite aluminum and composite structures together with our academic stakeholders. Through this cooperation, we aim to accelerate technology development activities, strengthen university-industry interaction and increase our qualified human resources.

During IDEF 2025, we hosted General Metin Gürak, Chief of the Turkish General Staff; General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, Commander of the Turkish Air Force; Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure; and senior officials from the Presidency of Defence Industries, as well as representatives from the USA, China, Saudi Arabia and other countries, and many other valuable names from Turkey and abroad at our stand. We shared information about our satellites, projects and technological competencies.

In addition, during the IDEF Talks sessions at IDEF 2025, Dr. Kaan Kalkan, Remote Sensing Group Leader at TÜBİTAK UZAY, gave a presentation titled "The Use of Satellite Imagery in Defence and Border Security", which was followed with great interest by the participants.

We would like to thank all our stakeholders who visited our stand during IDEF 2025, the participants who showed interest in our projects and everyone who supported us.

With the technologies we develop with domestic and national means, we continue our efforts with determination to reinforce Turkey's independence in space and to carry our country to the most advanced point in this field.
