Bülent AVENOĞLU
Deputy Director of the Institute (Technical Research, Production-Application-Software)
Bülent AVENOĞLU received his Bachelor's (1998) and Master's (2001) degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hacettepe University. He began his career in 1999 at the TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute, where he worked as a senior chief researcher. AVENOĞLU played significant roles in Turkey's leading satellite projects such as GÖKTÜRK-2, RASAT, TÜRKSAT 6A, and İMECE, holding critical positions like GÖKTÜRK-2 Project Manager and İMECE Production Work Package Leader.
He gained administrative experience in roles such as Group Leader of Ground Support Systems (2012-2018) and Group Leader of Assembly, Integration, and Test (2018-2024). As of 2024, AVENOĞLU was appointed Deputy Director of the TÜBİTAK Space Institute for Technical Affairs. In his current role, he continues to lead strategic projects aimed at enhancing Turkey's capabilities in space technologies.
