We Presented Türkiye's Advancements in Space Research at Tiandu Forum 2024

We attended the Tiandu Forum 2024 – the 2nd International Deep Space Exploration Conference, held in Huangshan, China, from September 4 to 6, 2024. At the conference, TÜBİTAK UZAY Institute Director Mehmet Nefes delivered a presentation on Türkiye’s Lunar Mission. The conference provided a platform for collaboration on large-scale scientific projects in deep space exploration, with participation from academics and high-level representatives from around the world.

In his presentation, Nefes highlighted TÜBİTAK UZAY's expertise in space technologies and research, sharing insights into Türkiye's Lunar Mission. He emphasized Türkiye's advancements in space exploration and outlined its future goals, underlining the significance of the Lunar Mission as a key opportunity to showcase Türkiye's scientific and technological capabilities on the international stage.

The presentation also underscored the importance of collaborative efforts with international institutions and universities as part of Türkiye's Lunar Mission. It was noted that these partnerships will form a solid foundation for future space missions, benefiting both scientists and research institutions. Nefes further emphasized Türkiye's determination to leave its mark in space exploration and its commitment to securing a place on international platforms.

TÜBİTAK UZAY attended the Tiandu Forum with a delegation that included representatives from the Institute's management, the Business Development and International Relations Group, the Integrated Circuit Design Group and the Propulsion Systems Group. During the conference, the TÜBİTAK UZAY delegation held meetings to explore potential collaborations and engaged in productive discussions with experts from various countries on deep space exploration.
