The contract of the project, which is a 7th Framework Program Project, coordinated by TEKEVER Company from Portugal, with six stakeholders from four countries, was signed by the European Commission and the project officially started on 1 January 2013.

The project aims to develop software-defined radio-based terrestrial communication technologies for space applications, especially for use on small satellites. Thus, it is aimed to realize innovative applications in satellite navigation, ad hoc networking, orientation determination, antenna and beam shaping on a compact technological platform.
