Exploration of Space
Turkey is taking firm steps towards the goals set in line with the National Space Program (MUP) with its space technologies infrastructure, which has been continuously strengthened for almost 20 years, and space applications that have been rapidly expanding in all sectors.
At the point we have reached today, TÜBİTAK UZAY is the leading organization in the realization of the space exploration targets set within the scope of the National Space Program (MUP), both with its research and development activities and its competence in project management expertise.
Turkey's Lunar Mission aims to make Turkey one of the few countries to have a presence on the Moon. In the first phase of the Lunar Exploration Program within this scope, it is aimed to make first contact with the Moon, and in the second phase, it is aimed to reach the lunar surface with the soft landing method.
TÜBİTAK UZAY will utilize its project management and system engineering capabilities, which it has acquired in all stages from system development to launch and operational use in the satellite and space technology projects it has realized so far, within the scope of the spacecraft developed on the TstarD platform to carry out Turkey's Moon Mission.
