Nitrogen top dressing process was carried out with multi-spectral UAV images, which is one of the most important activities of the field activities carried out within the scope of the Dissemination of Precision Agriculture and Sustainable Practices in the GAP Region (HASSAS) Project carried out in partnership with TÜBİTAK UZAY and GAP RDA. On August 19, 2019, UAV images were processed with the developed algorithms and top dressing maps were created. The top dressing maps were uploaded to the variable rate fertilization system and variable rate fertilization was carried out on August 20, 2019 in the project pilot areas located in Talat Demirören Station of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Agricultural Research, GAP Agricultural Research Institute (GAPTAEM).
Doğru oranda girdi kullanılarak gübreleme ihtiyacı %20-30 oranında azaltılarak girdi maliyetleri azaltılacak ve daha yüksek ürün rekoltesi elde edilecektir. Ayrıca daha az gübre kullanımı ile tarımın ekolojik etkisi azaltılacaktır.
