A new agreement was signed to update the infrastructure of the Ballistic Image Analysis and Recognition System (BALISTICA), which was developed by TÜBİTAK UZAY and has been successfully serving in Saudi Arabia since 2012. With the update, the service life of the system will be extended and the service quality will be improved.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mesut Gökten emphasized that the work to improve BALİSTİKA, one of the few systems in the world, with new technologies and to increase its competitiveness continues uninterruptedly, and stated that with the development of new units, it is aimed to increase the prevalence of BALİSTİKA in international use.
