TMIE
(Temperature Monitoring Interface Equipment)
The Temperature Monitoring Interface Equipment (SAYE) is an interface unit to which all thermistors throughout the satellite are connected. This interface unit reads the temperature data received from the thermistors and transmits it to the Satellite Management Unit (SMU) when requested. Thermal control of the satellite is provided with the received temperature data. Another task of SAYE is to read analog voltage levels other than temperature.
GAYE provides the following functions:
- Can be configured as hot redundant or cold redundant if desired
- Providing communication using MIL-STD-1553B and CAN buses
- Fault tolerant architecture with redundant structure and hardware protection features
- 366 NTC thermistor reading capacity

SAYE Features
Main Features
- Radiation resistant design with RTAX FPGA
- Communication with MIL-STD-1553 and CAN
- Remote control of the equipment with on-off commands
- Reading 183 zones with thermistors with redundant architecture
- Reading PTC and NTC thermistors
- Heat resistance with Aeroglaze surface coating
- -20°C to +50°C operating temperature
