On September 30, 2014, a TÜBİTAK UZAY-ODTÜ Cooperation Workshop was held with the support of METU Knowledge Transfer Office (BTO).

The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdullah Çavuşoğlu, Vice President of TÜBİTAK, Prof. Dr. Volkan Atalay, Vice Rector of METU, Prof. Dr. İrem Dikmen Toker, Advisor to the Rector of METU, as well as the Institute Management, relevant METU academics and researchers.

Following the opening speeches, a presentation was made about the projects carried out within TÜBİTAK UZAY. After the presentation, the Institute was visited with METU academicians and necessary introductions were made. In the afternoon session of the workshop, METU academicians made presentations on their own projects and areas of expertise. Afterwards, discussions were held on possible cooperation between TÜBİTAK UZAY and METU.

After a very productive Workshop, the Workshop Final Report was prepared and it was decided to take new steps in cooperation.
