TÜBİTAK UZAY participated in IDEF 2013 with its successful projects

TÜBİTAK UZAY, which launched RASAT, Turkey's first national observation satellite, in August 2011, and GÖKTÜRK-2, the first high-resolution reconnaissance and surveillance satellite, in December 2012, exhibited the satellites, subsystems and technologies obtained from the satellite and space projects carried out since the early 2000s at the 11th International Defense Industry Fair - IDEF 2013 held in Istanbul on May 7-10, 2013.

During the exhibition, TÜBİTAK UZAY introduced its high-resolution reconnaissance and surveillance satellite GÖKTÜRK-2, national observation satellite RASAT, satellite image database covering the whole of Turkey, mission computer BİLGE, image compression system GEZGİN, electric propulsion system HALE, infrared satellite camera KUZGUN, Ballistic Image Analysis and Recognition System BALİSTİKA and numerous satellite subsystems (UYGAR, TREKS-823, ÇOBAN) to potential international customers.

TUBITAK booth attracted great interest from the visitors. The products exhibited at the TÜBİTAK booth, which was visited by high-level guests from Turkey and abroad, attracted great attention. Visitors were informed by TÜBİTAK officials about the projects developed by TÜBİTAK using entirely indigenous technology. In addition, TÜBİTAK UZAY employees visited IDEF on May 8, 2013 and followed the developments in the sector.
