On Wednesday, March 25, 2015, Mr. M. Celalettin Lekesiz, Director General of Security, Mr. Ali Baştürk, Deputy Director General of Security and Mr. Kemal Çeber, Chief Inspector of Civil Administration visited TÜBİTAK UZAY Technologies Research Institute. TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Yücel Altunbaşak, TÜBİTAK Secretary General Arif Koyuncu and TÜBİTAK Vice President Dr. Orkun Hasekioğlu were also present during the visit.

Following the presentation made by Dr. Lokman Kuzu, Director of TÜBİTAK UZAY Institute, a plaque was presented to commemorate the visit. Afterwards, the BALISTICA System, which was developed by TÜBİTAK UZAY Institute between 2008 and 2012, supported by TÜBİTAK for the Criminal Police Laboratories (KPL) of the Turkish National Police, and which is being used by the Turkish National Police in 10 regions 24/7 without interruption, was introduced.

The visit ended after the briefing on the technologies and infrastructures of TÜBİTAK UZAY and the projects carried out.
