Exploration of Space

Türkiye is taking firm steps towards the targets set in line with the National Space Program (MUP), using its space technology infrastructure, which it has continuously strengthened for more than 20 years, and space applications, which it has rapidly disseminated in all sectors.

At the point we have reached today, TÜBİTAK UZAY is a leading organization with its expertise in both research and development and project management in achieving the goals of space exploration determined within the scope of the National Space Program (MUP).

With the Lunar Research Program (AYAP), it is aimed for Türkiye to be one of the few countries with a presence on the Moon. Within the framework of the current project, which is the first phase of the Lunar Research Program; The aim is to make the first contact with the Moon, and in the second stage, to reach the Moon's surface with the soft landing method in another project.

TÜBİTAK UZAY will use the project management and system engineering capabilities it has acquired at all stages, from the system development process to launch and operational use, within the scope of AYAP, within the scope of all satellite and space technologies projects it has carried out to date.
