Thermal Vacuum Test Facilities

Satellite components, equipment, subsystems and satellites are tested by simulating the vacuum and thermal conditions in the space environment with the thermal vacuum test systems in the infrastructure of our Institute. We have thermal vacuum test systems in different sizes and specifications to meet the test requirements of our customers and stakeholders. With the tests carried out by simulating space conditions, the designs and flight suitability of satellites and subcomponents are verified.

Test Detail Information

Key Features

TÜBİTAK UZAY has two thermal vacuum test systems. These test systems have a temperature-controlled shroud, thermal table and RGA device, and are capable of performing tests at space standards by descending to a pressure lower than 10-5 mbar. With these systems, the thermal and vacuum conditions of space are simulated and the qualification and acceptance tests of equipment / subsystems / satellites are carried out.
