We took part in the National Astronomy Congress (UAK) held at Istanbul University on September 2-6, 2024 with our Space Situation Awareness (SSA) working group. As TÜBİTAK UZAY, we exhibited our studies on object tracking in near space, space debris tracking and analysis of orbital dynamics, and the developments we have achieved in these fields.
Within the scope of SSA activities, we are focusing on monitoring active and passive objects in space, assessing potential collision risks, and developing strategies to enhance Turkey's space security.
These are just a few of Turkey's goals to increase its space situational awareness capacity! We continue to explore space with developing technology and innovative solutions.
