We attended the 3rd International Conference on Deep Space Research (Tiandu Forum), held in Hefei, capital of Anhui Province, China, from September 4-5, 2025. At the conference, Bülent Avenoğlu, Deputy Director of the TÜBİTAK SPACE Institute, and our managers from the Lunar Research Program (AYAP) and the Deep Space Missions Software, Hardware Development and Research Project (DUYARGA) met with representatives from the forum's participating countries and relevant Chinese institutions and organizations.

AYAP project manager Dr. Burak Yağlıoğlu gave a presentation providing information about Türkiye's Lunar Mission. The presentation, which was watched with great interest by the attendees, highlighted Türkiye's ambitious goals in space exploration.

One of the most striking parts of the presentation was the project's international collaborations and scientific objectives. Dr. Yağlıoğlu detailed the scientific and technological demonstration missions to be carried out as part of the Moon Mission, as well as the close collaboration platform established with academics through the Lunar Scientific Working Group. This platform, which served as an open invitation to anyone interested in the mission, was highly acclaimed.

Following the successes achieved with LEO and GEO satellites, Türkiye is now generating excitement in the scientific community with the Moon Mission, while also standing out with its potential to further strengthen Türkiye's role in space exploration.

As part of the forum, a delegation from the TÜBİTAK Space Institute brought together numerous institutions and companies, including the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO), space research centers, universities, satellite manufacturers, and launch agencies, and held discussions on the Moon Mission and planned future satellite and space missions.
