Gábor Baár, Chargé d’Affaires of the Hungarian Embassy in Ankara, and Trade and Economic Attaché Máté Szabados visited the TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute (TÜBİTAK UZAY) on July 17, 2026. During the visit, ongoing engagements in the field of space technologies between our Institute and Hungary-based institutions and organizations were evaluated, while potential opportunities for collaboration were mainly discussed.
The delegation was received by our Deputy Director, Dr. Sadık Murat Yüksel. Following an introductory presentation of the Institute delivered by Can Bayraktar, Head of Business Development and External Relations, industry-driven partnership prospects that could bring together the space ecosystems of both countries were evaluated.
Focused on strengthening the institutional dialogue between the parties, the visit was recognized as a productive engagement to lay the groundwork for future joint efforts and concrete projects.
